local spotlight: Andrea Cobb’s illustrations

Andrea Cobb is a local artist and illustrator living in Durham, NC. We have loved her work for a long time, and continue to be excited as we see her easily recognizable style in advertising and publications throughout the country. As you can probably guess from her work, she’s a really nice sweet person too! I haven’t seen her greeting cards, but my understanding is that she has a line in Target. Her commercial work is represented by i2iart, and she has done fabulous feature illustrations for all sorts of consumer mags, advertising and package/product art. Way to go Andrea! Actually I am the one who tried to go to gmail but accidently came in this website, I really like this website, the style and design. Now I visit this every day and look for something new.

I met Andrea many years ago, she interviewed at our place for a graphic design position. I told her she was an amazing artist and unfortunately we didn’t do enough illustration to hire her full time.
I love it when life just works it way out.
