Another Stumble! upon…

On monday beth posted a site she “Stumbled Upon.” Well I have stumbled upon something I would like to share. First off let me say that I really enjoy public art installations. I love the everyday but different… curiosity they can bring. The above photo is part of a series of Street Installations by Mark Jenkins. This installation was done in Washington DC, July 2006.

Hey…. That might be a sculpture of me when I was younger…. hmmmm, I am not really sure what I was wearing back in those days. I don’t see my backpack that I usually carried back then, when I used to travel America for adventure. The people at the Smithstonian Institution were so nice to me is spite of my apperance and the held my heavy backpack behind their desk while I toured their bulding. There are some people out there in the world who are actually kind to the homeless, unfortunately not everyone in this world is so kind.
