Continental Airlines: a pink nightmare

Date January 24, 2008

The last time I flew anywhere for a long distance, I chose Continental. The price and timing were both right, but, unfortunately, the “right” stopped there and the “wrong” kept on going. I’m not usually a complainer (at least not in public), but there was nothing pleasant about this flight. The pain of it all is too much for me to tell the whole story (although I’ll probably have to have some cathartic release at some point), so, for now, I think a picture will basically sum it up.

Picture Set-up: As is always the case, I and the whole coach section full of my flying companions, were cued that it was time to make our dinner selections by the dining cart bumbling down the aisle. So, naturally, everyone put their tray tables down. This is what every single person in coach was then faced with:

Peptobismal

You can imagine the quality of the food we then ate…

Stumble it!

That sounds awful - a giant pink advertisement for Pepto Bismol on your tray table? The very thought would have me reaching for the barf bag.

Guess it’s better than fake vomit.
