Dog Day Afternoon
Comfy couch potato dog Lulu, taking it easy. After a hard day of…well… napping and lounging, Lulu found a new place to daydream. That’s what I call a dog day afternoon.
Incidentally, do you know what “dog day afternoon” comes from? Did a brief search and didn’t find the origin, but I did find: A phrase of unknown origin, but common in the American South to refer to the hottest time of Summer when even the dogs slept under the porch in the shade. – Urban Dictionary
Of course, Al Pacino defines it a little differently.
